The Behringer XR18 X-Air is a digital rack mixer with integrated WiFi for remote control via PC, tablet or smartphone, be it via iOS, Android, Linux or Windows. What looks like a compact stagebox combines the latest technology in a very slim package. The 18 analogue XLR-jack combo inputs with 6 balanced AUX channels , 4 internal stereo effect processors (8 mono) , a huge amount of classic studio-quality effects and the USB output that converts all 18 input channels and can transfer them as single tracks to a DAW, are so easy to use that mixing a 6-man band becomes child’s play.

Following the trend of saving space by reducing equipment , this unit can be controlled remotely, as there are no longer any faders and knobs that could succumb to corrosive forces and scratch. All this is now a thing of the past. For those technicians who still like the feeling of faster access via faders and knobs, the optionally available BEHRINGER X-Touch hardware controller can be connected to the Behringer XR18 X-Air.

Whether on stage or in the studio, the Behringer XR18 X-Air is a reliable tool that makes the sound engineer almost forget the line between live and studio mixing.
